Returns Policy

Joinery Hardware will only accept returns for the following reasons:
- Goods damaged or faulty prior to delivery.
- Goods supplied incorrectly.
- Goods failing to meet any applicable guarantees under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
- Goods that vary from their description on the website.
REFUNDS
Whenever possible, Joinery Hardware will replace any damaged or faulty goods; otherwise a full refund will be issued for the value of the damaged or faulty goods.
Goods deemed surplus to requirements following purchase are NOT returnable.

PACKAGING & POSTAGE
Please include a copy of the invoice or packing slip that accompanied your order. If you are unable to provide a copy of the invoice or packing slip, include a note containing your order number, name, address, email address, contact phone number, and reason for return.
You will be notified by email when your return is received. Please allow 28 days for resolve of your return.

Payment of trade accounts or hardware purchased at the trade rate using credit cards will incur additional charges to offset credit card processing fees.

Warranty

Joinery Hardware guarantees their products against faulty workmanship or defective materials for a period of two years from the date of purchase. They will be replaced at no charge to the purchaser once the defect has been inspected and confirmed.
Exclusions: This guarantee does not cover damage through accident, neglect, incorrect installation or any damage whatsoever after delivery to the purchaser for reasons not related to their state or condition at the time of purchase.
Commercial use: It is a condition of sale that this guarantee and the Consumer Guarantees Act will not apply if this product is acquired for commercial use.

Currency

All prices quoted are in NZ dollars.

All orders outside of New Zealand are treated as tentative pending
pricing for international freight.

Delivery

Delivery within NZ is by Courier Post or Fastway
In general delivery times are within two days.
Please add one extra day for rural delivery.
Please contact us if you have not received your order within these times.

Order cancellation

Orders can be cancelled at any time prior to dispatch.

Consumer Guarentees Act

Consumer Guarantees Act: This guarantee is in addition to any rights and remedies available to a "consumer" as defined under the Consumer Guarantees Act (as detailed below).

Be of acceptable quality (see definition below).
Be fit for their particular purpose.
Match the description given in advertisements or sales brochures, or by the sales assistant.
Match the sample or demonstration model.
Be owned by the consumer, once purchased.
Be a reasonable price, if no price or pricing formula has been previously agreed

Acceptable quality

Do what they are made to do.
Are acceptable in appearance and finish.
Are free from minor defects.
Are safe and durable.
